Movie ReviewsExcellent! Unique Critique | Great Northwest | 11/03/2007 (5 out of 5 stars) "Both "Man from Snowy River" and "Return to Snowy River" are quality adventure films. Made for adults, they will nevertheless be loved by kids. There is not a dull moment in either picture and the action is breathtaking. The scenery alone is worth the watch (filmed on location in the mountains of Australia.) Whether or not you are fond of horses, the storylines will captivate you. I've been around horses all my life and never have seen daring riding like this! No stunt men here - just amazing horsemen from Down Under. If you don't get chills up and down your spine while watching some of the scenes, you gotta be dead. There is mystery, romance, suspense and some humor thrown in for good measure. Great actors, too! Both endings hold unexpected surprises. Be sure to watch "Man from Snowy River" first, then "Return." Make some popcorn and enjoy!"
