Movie Reviews

OK here is what you are getting in this

"I will go over what version you get of each of these movies.

7 GRANDMASTERS-you get the media blasters distributed mei-eh version. If you have not seen this then go and buy this 3 pack today, you will not be dissapointed. If you do not like this movie, then you are not a fan of this genre. It is ok, everybody has their thing.

So you get a perfectly letterboxed edition with good picture quality. Also English and Chinese dub with good subtitles.

THE NEW BIG BOSS-this is a really good movie but the version you are gettign in this 3 pack is FULL SCREENED. Still enjoyable, but you need to watch more than the 50% of the picture that is presented to us. Get the tai seng version under the title-Legend of the Wolf. Widescreened and original language, the 2 things that this version from Tokyo Shock is missing.

RED WOLF-you are getting the 2 disc set with commentary and interviews. The movie is horrible and is probably the only woo ping movie that I refuse to review on this site. So instead of reviewing it I will tell you that it is HORRIBLE with 2 good things about it though. Ngai Sing CAN FIGHT!!!!!!!! And Christy Chung, hottest woman in the world, easily. So the movie is REALLY bad, but is good for 5 minutes or so.

The commentary is with actress Elaine Lu and Bey Logan, very enjoyable. Disc 2 is weird. It has like a 25 minute documentary on Bobby Samuels. It is bvery interesting btu I can't figure out if it was made for Bobby samuel fans, or to get his name out there since pretty much nobody has ever heard of him. Then there is a stunt workshop hosted by Ngai Sing. Let's just say that he is a serious athlete. It is a good mini-doc on stunt training. But my favorite special feature was the photo gallery which has some really good pics of Christy Chung.

So all in all, a very good budget release from Tokyo Shock."
