Movie Reviews

Highly entertaining one-season wonder

"This is a gem of a sitcom from the golden age of television. I enjoy all of the episodes & each of the characters are a joy to watch. Though, I find Dexter to be the most interesting character & a real scene-stealer, looking forward to his next blunder.

I hope additional volumes (beside the previous three containing 12 episodes overall) are released. I realize there were 39 episodes to the series & hope others will go to http://tvshowsondvd.com to cast your vote for future volumes to be released. My first introduction to this had been the radio show which I thoroughly enjoy.

Refreshing to see others who go in for the classics as opposed to all the rubbish on the tube these days.

Meet Corliss Archer is a keeper. Right up there with The Aldrich Family & others of its genre. Classic albeit somewhat dated but that adds to its charm & appeal. Viewers of family sitcoms of the 1950s will certainly enjoy this show.
