"This is not the complete mini-series but instead only part one of three. Amazon does not carry the other two which you need to purchase from independent sellers, if available. I recommend importcds that carries both. I regretfully found this out after purchasing the DVD since Amazon fails to mention this very important fact.

The quality is not bad at all. The acting is superb and very accurate to history as Hollywood can be although it is a bit too sympathetic to a despot as Mussolini. All Star Cast and very well done. I would give the series 5 stars for that.

It is an import but the quality is about VHS quality and very acceptable. There are two other versions available through Amazon. One is of terrible quality at about $30.00 although it is complete. The second one is Region 2 which will not play in most DVD players in the U.S.

Perhaps someone will produce this excellent mini-series in the near future since this is one of George C. Scott's best performances, but you cannot go bad with this version if you get the other 2 parts."

"Excellent film starring many awarded and soon-to-be-awarded actors. Filmed in Yugoslavia. Excllent sound effects and dialog tracks despite the obvious problems of recording remotely. Excellent acting and casting is flawless! A must-see in ALL THREE PARTS; if you see only part you will long for what you are missing! I bought years ago but was only able to get the European version in Region 2. PURCHASE ALL THREE PARTS!"

"I saw the original the day that was air many years ago,in this one is missing part 2 and part 3 of the mini series,that was excellent,as soon you have available the second and third parts let me know,please
The Completed miniseries is excellent a superb acting by all the cast,and the story is real life of el Duce,it was a master piece of world war II history"
