Movie Reviews

Super Steelers
G. Wilson | 10/04/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I enjoyed this 5 dvd set of the Steelers. On each dvd you have 3 or 4 steelers(Andy Russell,Franco Harris,Joe Greene,Lynn Swan,Dwight White,Mike Wagner,Randy Grossman,Rocky Bleier,Mel Blount,John Banaszak,John Stallworth,L.C.Greenwood,Jerome Bettis,Joey Porter,Bill Cowher) talking about that year and some of the games as you watch some game footage. Each dvd has a few extras. These dvd's are fun and enjoyable to watch. Each dvd comes in nice slim case with a picture of that years Super Bowl ring on the front. The back has pictures of the Steelers interviewed on that dvd.All 5 dvd's come in a nice box you see pictured on Amazon. This is a nice edition to the Steeler dvd's I already have.If you are an old Steeler fan like me I think you will enjoy this box set."

"This is an awesome collection. If you are a Steelers fan, then this is a must have for your collection. Many critics have raved about the NFL America's Game Series as a whole and with good reason. Whether you liked the Steelers of the 70's or the most recent 2005 edition, this is a collection you must have in your Steelers video library. The DVD videos cover not just the 5 Super Bowls the Steelers won but all of the stories and events that accompanied the Steelers Championship seasons. Including significant events in Steelers history like the immaculate reception, City of Champions, Steelers Hall of Fame Wing, great Steelers player profiles like Running Backs Franco Harris, Rocky Blier, & Jerome Bettis, The Steel Curtain, Blitzburgh, the Tackle, Takin the BUS Home, and lots...lots more. There are many bonus great Steelers extras on each DVD. Even those these Steelers video tributes were created on DVD (instead of High Definition Blu-Ray or HD DVD) the quality is still high class on your HD environment with many video scenes created from low definition sources from the 70's before digital age. If you are a true Steelers fan, then you have to get this DVD collection."
A Must for Steelers Fans!!!

"These are the same as the award-winning series on NFL Network but without the commercial interruptions. You also get a few little extras on each DVD which the true fan will enjoy. The video and sound production is excellent, and the script writing really brings out the emotion of the games. Overall, for under six dollars per DVD this has to be one of the best bargains in terms of a football collection that you will actually want to watch multiple times over the years."
Great dvd

"This is not the typicaL highlight dvd. It goes into more depth of the personalities of the 70's Steelers. Jack Lambert was afraid of snakes, John Stallworth would get Terry Bradshaw donuts in order to get him to throw to him, John Banazacks father almost disowned him for signing with the Steelers being he was a Browns fan. There are more in depth interviews about the games and many extras. A must for any Steelers fan."
