Movie Reviews

Natasha Rocks!
03/05/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Natasha Bedingfield is great in this DVD. It was recorded in June of 2006. She is in NYC. She performs amazingly, she is a great singer live. She really does the concert well. The only thing I was dissapointed about was that it lists as a track "Drop me in the middle" which is one of my favorite songs, but it really is just about 20 seconds, leading into "I'm a bomb". Other than that it is great. It doesn't list Silent Movie as a song, but it is on there. Her back-up singers, Lauren and Jessica, are great. The DVD is perfect, a concert, 2 music videos, and a behind the scenes of her time in New York City. I love her music. Unfortunetly. I wasn't at the concert, but I love the DVD. I origannaly got it from Netflix, but I got ti for my birthday, so now I can watch it whenever I want. It was hard to return it to Netflix. The DVD has alot, not all, but alot of the songs on the album, Unwritten, plus "Frogs and Princes" off of her single, and "The Scientist", by a group I don't know. If you like Natasha Bedingfield, then I recommend this. If you don't have the CD and just like Unwritten and These Words, or something, then I wouldn't get it. It does have both of those songs, but I would just look those up online. But if you like the whole album, or most of it, then get it. It makes a great gift. I totally recommend this if you are a Natasha fan!!!"

"I live in the UK and have pre-ordered this item. I absolutly love Natasha and her music. I cant wait to watch the 2 hour live performance and the 2 hour assortment of bonus features. It truly will be a explosive dvd to remember. I also can't wait for her 2nd album out March 2007 in UK!"

"Recorded live at the Nokia Theater, NYC, June 8, 2006.

Track listing: If You're Gonna...,Frogs & Princes, These Words, We're All Mad, I Bruise Easily, Drop Me In The Middle, I'm A Bomb, Peace Of Me, The Scientist, Size Matters, Single, Wild Horses, Unwritten.

DVD bonus features: 5-song live acoustic set, "These Words" music video (director's cut), "Unwritten" music video, "Natasha Bedingfield in New York City" documentary.

Finally, a live DVD concert from the beautiful and talented Natasha Bedingfield. Just the cover photo of this DVD is worth the price of admission as far as I'm concerned! So by now you can tell I'm a fan. :)

What attracted me to Natasha's music in the first place was its originality-"These Words" has to be one of the freshest-sounding songs of recent times, completely in a class by itself. And having seen Natasha live myself, I can definitely say that this DVD captures her at her best. Her performance here easily equals, if not exceeds, her performance in the studio. She's one of those artists who give fans a truly great experience at a live show, and it shows here. I especially like her performance of "Wild Horses." Such a great song, sung beautifully by Natasha. And you even get a cover of Coldplay's "The Scientist." Chemistry between Natasha and her audience is excellent, which always adds a nice touch to any concert.

If you're already a fan of Natasha, I don't have to tell you to get this, and for $9.99 you can't go wrong. It's such a shame that she didn't make it bigger here in the States. But for us fans, this DVD is a treasure."
