Great Moodies DVD
D. Berryman | Georgia, USA | 07/10/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I recently got this DVD of Moody Blues music videos, and it is just great! A good mix of vintage and newer videos, some color, some b&w. The guys all looked so young and handsome, and while much of it is dubbed/synched it's still great Moody Blues music! I will list the songs that are on it for those who might be interested. This is definitely one to add to your Moody library.

1 Nights In White Satin (circa 1967)
2 Tuesday Afternoon (from Jazz-Bilzen festival, 1968)
3 Legend of a Mind (circa 1968)
4 Voices in the Sky (from tv show 'Colour me Pop', 1968)
5 Ride my See-Saw (also from "Colour")
6 Dr. Livingstone (also form "Colour")
7 Never Comes the Day (circa 1969)
8 Question (from the tv show LULU, 1970)
9 I'm Just a Singer(in a Rock n Roll Band) (circa 1973)
10 Had to Fall in Love (circa 1978)
11 Driftwood (circa 1978)
12 Gemini Dream (circa 1981)
13 Blue World (circa 1983)
14 Your Wildest Dreams (circa 1986)
15 The Other Side if Life (1986)
16 I Know You're Out There Somewhere (circa 1988)
Very cool - but format description is incorrect

"There's some great, little seen vintage footage here, but the description of the format is inaccurate; it is not NTSC, but PAL. Therefore, it will not play on any of my US players (although it plays on my iMac). With this caveat, Moody Blues fans will enjoy this."
Great vintage footage

"I saw alot of the early footage on youtube, and I had to try and find it. I first purchased the "Classic Artist" dvd because it said it would have rare footage. But it only had a crappy version of Go Now , and the rest were from the 80's. Fortunatly I stumbled on this by accident , and was relieved that what I was looking for was on this set. The only thing missing on this is footage of "OM" and "The Voice" , which I see clips of on the Docu. of the other dvd "Classic Artist". About it playing in PAL format, I had no trouble with this playing on my US dvd player."
