Movie Reviews

Even Smoother
Freddy Red | Rochester, NY | 07/26/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This show is gorgeous - audience or not it really doesn't matter - The other review here is doing a disservice to Ms. Williams' fans by being so negative - The interaction between the musicians is brilliant and the cameras capture it perfectly. Beautiful set, stunning lighting, and great musicianship. And 5.1 surround sound too. Ignore the naysayers or you will miss a great program. If you like Pamela trust me you will enjoy this disc."
THE SEXY SAXTRESS

(4 out of 5 stars)

"If you don't know her music, you might first be attracted by the image of this beautiful and sexy woman on a CD or DVD cover playing the sax. That's the way that marketing sells. Once you listen to the music you realize that the lady is enormously talented. One song after the other on the DVD captured me. She and her band obviously like playing together and were in perfect harmony and in sync. The only reason this did not get 5 stars is because it was a studio performance. I love the energy of a live performance and wished that I had seen Pamela talking and relating to the audience. That haven't been said, it's still a great DVD and one that would be a worthy addition to anyone's collection."

"I just love Pamela and this disc is really great. She is so smooth and cool and her band is awesome. Try this on a special evening, put it on the big screen and relax. Ignore the bad apple review."
