Movie Reviews

I'm confused

"I don't regret that I have this DVD in my collection, but I really can't say that I enjoyed it. I know, it makes no sense. Then again, that's what I thought about the movie. There were some great scenes, some insight into the world of horse racing that escape the mainstream of this type of film, and many other things that I really did enjoy in this movie. There was also a heavy emphasis on philosophy and life in general. On the other hand, the characters were mostly ......unusual (to say the least). Don't be mislead by the title. Passion has litle to do with it. I love Russian films, but if I didn't have this one, and I had a list with this and five others that I wanted to see, I would buy the five others first, and then think further before I bought this one. But I still don't regret having it now. Maybe you will think it's a great film. I just didn't get it all."
