Very Sweet Movie

"I took my 5 year old son and his friend to see this movie. My son is a HUGE Piglet fan and sleeps with him every night. His friend could care less about Piglet, but what the heck it's an opportunity to eat popcorn. I am happy to report both children really enjoyed the movie, as did all of the children in the theater from what I could tell. The whole gang goes looking for Piglet after he wonders off during a honey hunting escapade. At his home they find a book of wonderful pictures of their time together. They believe if they follow the pictures it will lead them to Piglet. Each picture leads to a new story. And that's the best part, they are NEW stories. Not just Disney rehashing the old for the sake of making a buck. There is a great sequence in the end involving all the friends coloring pictures for Pigelt and I could just imagine little one's thinking they couldn't wait to get home and color. There's no foul languange, no potty jokes, no violence, just wonderful characters, sweet songs, and friendship. It was a great break from today's stressful world."

"I am 4 and it was a good movie. Cause all the friends help each other. They co-operate to have the job done. Friends are good. My grandmom helped me write this. It is a good movie for kids and grandmoms"

"I have watched many versions of Winnie the Pooh, from the A.A. Milne originals to the more recent "New Adventures..." to the Book of Pooh. A Piglet Movie is much more A.A. Milne, which I personally find refreshing. The storyline is very gentle, and the feelings evoked by the themes are very familiar to small children (being too small, not being noticed, being lost and frightened). Each short story within the film was carefully chosen and fit perfectly with the overall theme. The search for Piglet and his magical scrapbook tie them all together seamlessly. The folksy Carly Simon music may not be some people's first choice, but it just works somehow in this movie. Just right. This movie has just the right amount of humor and excitement to hold a young child's interest without overkill. There were a couple of initial moments of nervousness for our 2 and 4 year old, when the bees were chasing Pooh and his friends, and again when Kanga gives Piglet a bath and Piglet is clearly terrified. My children have since relaxed, as they now understand these scenes a little better, but it may help to explain what's happening to little ones."
Great for any Pooh or Piglet fan..

"In this latest tale from the 100 Acre Wood, Piglet becomes lost and the gang sets off to find him, using Piglet's scrapbook of memories to find him. In a series of short films, intertwined with the 'lost in the woods' story, the usual crew reminisces about their undying friendship and the adventures they have shared together. This film enforces the idea that you do not have to be big to make a difference (perfect for toddlers), and that friendship is everlasting (perfect for adults as well). My two-year old enjoyed it immensely and I did not find it a trial to sit through either. Carly Simon's wonderful vocals are a plus. Great for any child's DVD collection or any fan of Pooh."

"This is fun entertainment for both young and old alike. It revisits some of Milne's original stories (even if perfectionists will note that Eyore appears in the story before he's introduced in the book). The music was absolutely wonderful, moving the story very well--can't wait to get the soundtrack. The animation is great and the way each individual story is interwoven with the main story is very skillful. Children will enjoy this film, but it will have a laugh for the "older kids" (adults)too. It seemed to be a bit long for younger children (3-year olds), but held well for the others. The younger ones got wiggly! Can't wait for the video."
