"I see now that KOCH VISION has released the 75th Anniversary Edition in smaller sets. That's fine if you don't want to go for the 75th Anniv. with three disks. I hope these folks (KOCH) are listening...there were 220 of these 1960-61 cartoons done. The best ones are the ones that were directed by Seymour Kneitel (I would really love it if they'd come out with a DVD of the Harveytoon Cartoons with Herman & Katnip, etc.) The passable cartoons are the ones by Gerry Ray, Larry Harmon, and there is one other producer. The ones with Jack Kinney directing are a smirk, (I just don't care for them) if you can muster up even that! By far, the Seymour Kneitel produced cartoons are the best ones, and I believe that only the Jack Kinney produced cartoons outnumbered Kneitel's Paramount Crew, with Jack Mercer/Carl Meyer. How about a DVD Of Popeye with just Seymour Kneitel/Gerry Ray/Larry Harmon ones produced? Besides, Winston Sharples music scores in the 1950's-1960's were widely recognized...at least by those who grew up watching them. I've even gone as far as talking with some people over at KOCH ENTERTAINMENT about resurrecting the other cartoons...here's hoping! :^)"
