Cut the Crap the DVD Version!

(1 out of 5 stars)

"Okay, as if the unauthorized nature of this DVD was not enough of a deterrent, I hope this will dissuade you from wasting your money. What could have been really great in terms of performances from various points in the Clash's career a la the "Beatles Around the World" DVD, esp. given the existing footage of the Clash at the US Festival (last show with Mick), ends up with a bunch of critics I've never heard of (doubt you have either), with a token appearance by Don Letts (who should have known better), rehashing the band's own Westway to the World to a way less successful degree, talking over the always great performances. They should have taken the advice of Joe Perry and let the music do the talking. Avoid, avoid, and what else should I say? AVOID!

Signed,
epsteinsmutha"
