Movie Reviews

Coolest Video Ever.
Steve Zubal | Pine Island FL | 08/05/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I purchased this video in June 08 and I've watched it a dozen times or more in a couple of months, its that good. I just love it! Currently the song titles aren't listed...They are, in this order : Evening Over Rooftops, Anthem, Down The Wires, Moth, Why Can't Somebody Love Me, Refugee, Momma's Reward, American Boy Soldier, Homes Fit For Heros, Dr. Spock, Love In The Rain, Revelations, Hotel Room, Last Electioneer, And of course! Out Demons Out. Bonus features : Back stage interview, Green Lights (Unplugged), Photo gallery. The original band of Edgar and Steve Broughton and bassist Arthur Grant are complemented with Edgars' son Luke on keyboards plus Andrew Taylor who plays guitar, tambourine and harmonica. The camera work, editing and sound are all top notch. There are no detractors...only that you'll wish it was twice as long! The show was recorded in Germany on 3/24/06 and during the interview they mention that hopefully they'll be releasing a disc of newly recorded material...so far this has not materialized. Remember though this band is exactly what the establishment seeks to suppress. Lets hope the music gods smile upon them! The band that is! Buy this video and you'll be the one who's smilin'. P.S. The version of Love In The Rain on this DVD is the best, you can hear the Hendrix influence pouring out of Edgars' Stratocaster? Telecaster?, it'll chill ya' to the bone! PEACE"
