Movie Reviews

Every Reagan Fan Should See This Video Series

(5 out of 5 stars)

"If you want everything Reagan, wall-to-wall Reagan, non-stop Reagan and nothing but Reagan this is the video for you. Unlike the Morris book, this tape features six hours of Reagan being Reagan--in his own words and nobody else's. His fight against Communism, his gentle wit, his optimism and patriotism shine in this video series. I can't think of anything that's not in this series; every great moment of crisis and leadership in the Reagan presidency is covered including vintage clips covering his pre-Presidential years. If you want the whole enchilada then order this video box set. You won't be disappointed."
Great Video Collection of a Great Leader

"This compilation of President Reagan's speeches is probably the most complete collection I have encountered. It has all the speeches I remember from when I was a boy back in the 1980's. It brings back great memories of America's last great president. Most of the speeches presented are shown in most of their entirety. Some of them include SDI, Challenger Disaster, Bombing Libya, Invading Grenada, and Farewell Address to the Nation, to name a few. If you are an admirer of Reagan and suffer from Nostalgia of the Reagan era as I do, this video is for you. Overall, I do recommend this video. It brought back great memories of my childhood with the man I will always call "My President.""

"Let the Noam Chomsky fans continue to live in thier idyllic (yet bitter) ersatz-Upotia that exists only in thier private, unattainable fantasyland. This is a wonderful set for all Reagan fans who admired and respected the man and the way he was able to turn the country around from the doldrums and despair of the toothless Carter administration and reminded us all what made this country great.

It's also nice to have more complete clips of Reagan's most famous moments and not just the "best-of" highlight clips that we've seen a million times.

Buy it...watch it...live it again. Who knows when we'll see a man of this vision and greatness again."
"Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!!!"

"This video series is the best one yet. Unfortunately, many of the DVDs that cover President Reagan's legacy are overshadowed by the harsh words of left wing critics with axes to grind. This DVD set shows Mr. Reagan's speeches and comments in an unbiased and uncut way. I really enjoyed watching this series, and it is no wonder why Americans felt better about themselves during both of his Presidential terms. President Reagan was one of the greatest leaders in world history, and this DVD set shows you why. I highly recommend this DVD set over all the other Reagan biographical series. Enjoy!"
