Movie Reviews

Very well done!!

"This film is a must see for any diehard Sox fan! I just saw this film last night at it's premier, in the Fenway Theaters, and I was blown away. Very well put together and extremely informative. I've been a Sox fan for a long time- through the good times, and the not so good times. I know baseball, and I know the Sox, but this film takes our Sox history to a whole new level. I especially loved seeing all the old images. I would have to believe that prior to this film, these images weren't available to the public. I also think that the choice of a narrarator in a documentary can either make or break the film. I think they used Mikey Adams, and he was a perfect match. In seeing this film, I now feel completely justified in being a crazy Sox fan that, with every season, every game, and every single inning I either live or die. I can't wait for my copy!"
Fascinating

"I saw this show on NESN and had to buy this dvd right away. I cant understand why its on two dvds when it could fit onto one easily. While I cant share the pain of a die hard Sox fan, ive been a die hard fan since the beginning of 2004. I saw Johnny Damon and I was hooked watching it. That year, the curse ended and a new era begun for Red Sox's. I even told a friend at work in 2005 after Sox lost in the playoffs, I bet you Damon will sign with the Yankees. Sure enough he did.

Back to the dvd though. I loved the rich history of the Sox's fans from the Rooters to the Nation it is today. I thought the dvd did a excellent job at the early years up until today, although after 1918 it does seem a bit rushed. Very good dvd overall though and highly recommended if your a Sox's fan."
