I enjoyed this movie, but I was a little disappointed in it. First of all, it is based on a book, but I have not read it. Based on discussions I have read online, many of the readers were disappointed to find that a character from the book was dropped among other changes. As someone who looked forward to the film, but was not familiar with the book, I enjoyed the movie. It was worth a rental, but it did disappoint in a few departments. Some of the subplots arrived to a dead end with no resolution, also, some key events left the viewer to arrive to their on muddled conclusion as to what occured or what was implied.
