"... I'll meet you there. ~ Rumi
One woman, one story, one documented personal experience of the transforming power of a 13th century Sufi Mystic, Alchemist, Teacher, Poet Extraordinaire and Friend to all on the path of Liberation. This film is inspiring and uplifting as it chronicles the life changing moment when filmmaker Tina Petrova accidentally drives her car off a cliff and lives to tell the tale with stunning visuals and music that shine a light on the unity we all share at the core of our being.
The interviews touch the heart and the astounding poetry will leave in imprint on your soul. I love this film and it's personal account of the far reaching effects of what happens when you choose to live an Authentic Life....publicly.
Rumi sums it up best, "Let the Beauty we Love Be what we Do."
Thanks for reading.

"This film centers around Tina Petrova's search for healing of her physical and spiritual life. She succeeds with the inspirational guidance of Rumi and friends. But this is also a beautiful mosaic of poetry, landscapes, art, and talks by various spiritual leaders. A superb film. Every viewing is a new refreshment. It's a unique sojourn as the images and fine soundtrack invokes wonderful contemplation. Andrew Harvey expresses great passion for Rumi and Rumi's mentor. Rumi's death was described as his wedding day...his return to source, God, the divine unmanifest, (The Beloved). Unique perspectives and locations are presented here with a very intimate insight into the whirling dervishes. There is even a connection between NASA's moon project and visionaryforms of architecture in the Mojave Desert. There is much in the Special Features which includes poetry, still photos, exquisite art and calligraphy. I enjoyed this."

"'Rumi Turning Ecstatic' did not hit the spot for me. For a more comprehensive representation of Rumis life, work and the spirit of his teachings watch 'Rumi Returning, The Triumph of Divine Passion', a more expensive purchase but well worth it."
