Better-than-it-should-be sequel. Well paced with plenty of blood, some humor, few true scares and a couple of actual twists. Updated for today's upload/post world, the movie offers 'new' rules of horror movie sequels while keeping many of the 'old' rules intact.

I have been curious about this movie since it was released in the theaters and now I am glad I didn't pay to see it in theaters. The ideas are interesting but it's nothing new or original. My biggest question after watching this movie....did I miss something in the first three movies but how is it that Dewey is now Sheriff of Woodsboro with two working arms and no limp?? They never explain this glaring inconsistency from the original movies. I didn't hate this movie but I guess I hoped for something stronger and in the end it wasn't there.
