Get acquanted w/ the best live band around...period

"I've been trying to get people on board the STS9 train for some time now, this DVD makes it a whole lot easier. A brilliant concotion of electonica, rock, with funk and jazz influences - STS9 has quickly become the best live show around - Nobody else even comes close. Like many live music oriented bands, seeing the show and simply hearing the show are two very different experiences. This DVD is sure to turn even the most violent skeptics into avid followers of the band. BUY THIS DVD and get acquanted with the most original/exciting act to come around in years, maybe even decades."

A Refreshing Live DVD for a change

"So this band, Sound Tribe Sector 9, has been around for quite some time. I had several friends and some family members fall in love with these guys quite a few years ago, and I had seem a couple of times in outdoor settings, at a few festivals. I really never got the hype honestly, until I saw them at the Tabernacle two New Years runs ago. And well, they really are a phenomenally amazing band that shines so much brighter in an indoor setting.

Ever since then, I have been borderline obsessed, ok, maybe fully obsessed with their music! It just takes me to a place that no other music does, and is almost therapeutic its so good. And, as far as this DVD goes, I finally broke down and bought it a month or so ago, and needless to say, I was not let down. This is the perfect way for someone to see how awesome the band is. The angles they got with the cameras are really awesome and it does a good job of showing the crowd, which when there in person, almost seems like it moves as if it was a living entity all on its own.

If you like this band, definitely cop this DVD. And if you have never seen these guys live and electronic music is your thing, you must go check them out and have your mind blown. If you can ever get them at this venue specifically, (The Tabernacle in Atlanta), do so with no questions asked. Regardless of ticket price. If youre skeptical at all, watch this DVD and it will get the point across. And remember, this was filmed over 3 years ago, so the band has evolved even since then. Their songs are much more mature now, and even several of the songs on this DVD have blossomed into newer versions that the ones from 2005 do not them justice.

I love this band, and I love this DVD. Get into STS9, everyone else has."
