Movie Reviews

Good for beginner but frustrating formatting
Elsea | California | 04/28/2005
(4 out of 5 stars)

"The content is well-explained; Moira uses a model and talks through each exercise. This DVD is very easy. I would recommend this only for true beginners or someone who has back problems and simply can't do the more challenging workouts. Two things I found very annoying were at the beginning of the DVD you can't fast-forward anything, the intros etc. must all be played. The second problem was if you select the chapter option, it will play only one exercise at a time, and then it bounces you back over to the main menu. Also, the total run time on the DVD is somewhat deceiving. The whole exercise routine runs about 30 minutes and when you look on the back it says 90 minutes - that's because it's got other stuff on there you'll probably never use anyway. I look forward to using this DVD but will not buy any others in the series as I read that Simple Stretches also had some of these same complaints, so they might be all like that.

Very Basic, Was hoping for more

"I was looking for a little more of a "workout" that would be kind to my spine. This video seemed more to emphasize proper stretching, but I didn't feel that it provided instruction on strengthening like I had hoped."
Perfect For My Healing/Fragile back

(5 out of 5 stars)

"I was so impressed with the carefully explained, controlled back/neck exercises that made up this workout. My back is so sensitive to movement and strains from an injury I sustained four months ago that I didn't think I'd be able to ANY workout. This DVD is a perfect addition to my physical therapy stretches."
