Movie Reviews

Audio/Video Sync Problems
KGJ Gtr Player | Hinckley, OH United States | 12/11/2007
(3 out of 5 stars)

"While the music is great there is a problem with the Boston show second set. The audio and video are way out of sync. The first set is fine as is the complete Chicago show. From a video standpoint the Chicago show looks much better than the Boston show even disregarding the out of sync problem."
UPDATE ON DVD PROBLEMS

"Gov't Mule has ackknowledged the problems and has promised to fix the defective discs. If you preorderd the dvd from the mule-store then they will automatically mail you fixed discs when they become available and if you purchased the DVD from a retail store, then new discs should be out soon, check mule.net for updates and info.......i would advise not to order the DVD until the problems have been fixed."
I love Mule...but the QC on this DVD is horrible!!

"I am a huge Gov't Mule fan but the QC on this effort is VERY poor. In another review the "sync" problem was mentioned on disc 2...I have it on disc 1 as well.
On disc 2 there is a video "noise" problem on many shots..a white fuzzyness on many of the camera shots...not all mind you but 40% i'd say.
I've contacted their people and we'll see what they have to say about this.
VERY bummed out."
Video out of sync!!! Bummed out!!!!!
Big Mule Fan | Vancouver, WA | 12/12/2007

"While the overall musical performance on these discs is fantastic and Mule at it's best, the production quality of the disc is a bit poor which
is ironic because a few weeks ago, Gov't Mule posted a message on there site indicating that the release of this DVD would be pushed back due to some production issues. It would appear that they should have pushed the release back even further because there's a considerable lack of "sync" on second half of disc 1. It looks like you're watching an old kung fu movie, mouth moving but no vocals. I've emailed there merch guys to see if they've let the band know and to see when a replacement can be expected. This is a real drag cuz' I've been looking forward to this disc for months as there isn't any other film footage of these guys as a band with the exception of the Deepest End stuff. Still love the Mule but man, this is unacceptable."
