Nice Package For The Money

"I liked the package and thought there was nothing else out there until I found the Gartel- Trance, Dance and Other Living Things DVD. There is nothing like it in exsitence. I have watched it 8 times and am still experiencing new sounds and new visuals. This Gartel fellow is called the "Father of Digital Media" and now I know why. He created 14 mini movies using every multi-media effect known to mankind, plus several of his own that he threw in for good measure. He set these in time to various trance, dance, and electronic tracks, done in dolby digital 5.1 surround sound. It was truly a trip. Worth every penny. If you have a big screen tv and surround sound, this is a must! For anyone into Adobe, Graphics, or Art, his images are inspiring. Buy the Trance experience plus Gartel, just so you will have a comparison of what I am talking about."
Not Bad

"I was at my local record store and i thought I'd pick it up. I am a huge trance fan so i wasnt realy worried about it being a waist of money. Plus, it was only 17 bucks, so if the DVD was bad and the CD's were good (or vise versa) it was like I only bought one anyway. Well I would just like to say that the CD's are TERRIBLE!! Worst trance I have ever heard. Except for the tracks that are on the DVD (the DVD tracks are mixed into the CD). The DVD however was pretty good. Had a lot of good tracks on it, and the visuals were a nice change. It has live footage of clubs and graphics. I would give the DVD 4 out of five stars and the CD's one at most. So if you got 20 to spend, you should do for it. (The craziest part of visuals, is a face that rolls around on the screen)"
Pretty good, but for the price, it's a steal

"Considering this was $18 when I bought it, this is a steal. The visuals on most of the videos are pretty cool, although some of the interludes are rather weak (but thankfully short). Honestly, when I popped this in, and heard the music on the first screen, I about flipped out. It sounded like a 5 year old on his Porta-Sound. But don't worry, just hit play, and let the adventure begin. The videos of DJ Tiesto are awesome (although I am admittedly biased), and the best IMHO are the shots of Amsterdam's Red Light District and the Cannabis bars. Very cool choice. The club scenes can get a little repetitive, but there's some funny stuff in there too. The guy in the sweater vest dancing by himself cracks me up. It's only there for a few seconds, but long enough to get a laugh. One thing I really don't like are the credits that show up at the end of the last track. I primarily got this as something to show when I have parties, and credits scrolling is just too cheesy.
Don't buy this for the bonus CDs. They're a "Trance Experience" I wish I didn't have. Most of the tracks are, well, horrible. There are certainly some redeeming tracks, but if you've been a trance fan for any period of time, you probably already have them on other CDs and compilations. Still, you essentially get them for free with the DVD, so I can't take away any stars for something that didn't really cost me anything.
Overall, this is well worth the price. A pretty good DVD, and two almost passable CDs is definitely worth it. Pick this up; it's money well spent."
Jaimy & Kenny D - Caught Me Running (Tiesto Summerbreeze R

"I did not buy this for the dvd. I bought it for one track on the two cd's that come with it. For those out there wanting to complete their Tiesto remixes collection...the first cd in this set contains the full unmixed version of Jaimy & Kenny D's - Caught Me Running (Tiesto Summerbreeze Remix). Just making you aware out there if you happen to stumble across this dvd. But it for that one track if you looking for all of Tiesto's remixes. The dvd is ok. :)"
