"I've bought or viewed many of the golf instructional DVDs on the market, including those from Leadbetter and McLean. This one by Wally Armstrong is really worthwhile. Realize that for this price you actually get 5 DVDs, all of which are double-sided. What you get is a compilation of various instructional videos, many of which were filmed in the late 1980s--but all very relevant and useful. And many good ideas about useful drills and do it yourself instructional aides. Also, one DVD on golf for women, and one for golf for children. This is definitely the best value-for-money golf instructional DVD available. "
This is the only golf instruction you will ever need

"Quite simply, the best thing you will ever see re: the feels of a proper swing.Pay close attention to a few things - balance ALWAYS - hit the inside back corner of the ball with an 'open' clubface - understand lag pressure points.A coat hanger, a broom, a mop, a basketball and a 'rock on a string' - all you will ever need to learn great golf.Hogan knew the answer, Wally can show you how to 'feel' it.If you play golf, you need this tape. I would also highly recommend George Knudson's book (don't let the title fool you, it is a classic swing). With this dvd set, a few household items and balance, you WILL play great golf."

"I have never written a review before, but I had to rave about this video. There are 5 two sided DVD's included with this video; that's the equivalent of 10 DVDs. I have barely scratched the surface and have already learned so much.
The DVD's are absolutely packed with information. I am a beginning golfer and wanted to pick up a few pointers. This video teaches fundamentals and more advanced lessons. It has given me so many excellent pointers that I have improved my (pretty awful) game by a number of strokes. There are sections aimed at beginners and ones for more advanced golfers. There are sections for women and for junior golfers. I think I will be able to use it for years to come. It should help anyone at any level of play. Incredible value for the $$. Highly recommended."
This is the best deal you'll find if you're learning golf...

"This is perfect for the golf newbie or if you're shooting 90+ and want to get better. Wally Armstrong takes you from start to finish with the golf swing, chip, pitch, trouble shots, and drawing and fading the ball. For every shot, he will tell you what he's going to do, tell you how to do it, and then he'll make the shot. The set also includes interviews and swing analysis with current pros (back when they were much younger), training aids (some familiar and many unusual), golf for women, and golf for kids. You can't beat the quality of instruction or the price for 5 DVDs all of which are double-sided with different topics on each side of the disc."
Good golf value

"The golf instruction can be a little complex at times. However, with the amount of information given for male, female and children golfers, I found it to be complete on golf technique from grip to short game. I like the format of the DVD since you get a good visual on how to hit the ball more effectively. I also used the following for shooting lower scores. The book is called: The Ultimate Golf Instruction Guide: Key Techniques for Becoming a Zero Handicap Golfer or Better, ISBN:1933023090. This book was amazing because it had techniques in it that I wasn't familiar with until now. Unlike many othe golf books, the technique in this book really works. I went from an 85 average score to a 78 average score in about 6 months. Both the DVD and the The Ultimate Golf Instruction Guide are well worth the money."
