If that's what you were looking for, you found it. Those who are looking for the original uncut versions, there is another set. Even in November I could not find it for a decent price (the local big box stores did not have it in stock--in November) Even Amazon had it out of stock.
Persistence pays off, though, since I was able to get all four movies for less than $18.00 & with the Amazon Prime trial membership I got them before Christmas too. The day after I ordered this (the Sunday before Christmas) the local big box stores were selling Christmas Vacation for $10-$15, so I think I got a great deal. This is not a traditional box set-- all 4 movies are in one DVD case. The case itself is pretty flimsy since my 2 year old has already destroyed it. Per another review, yes these are widescreen, but we LIKE widescreen. All in all, $18 for 4 classic Chevy Chase movies is a great price." |
