Movie Reviews

After all the years Franki Valli Still Rocks!!!
David J. Heward | , NJ United States | 04/06/2007

"If any one knows any thing about music and the previous pin head reviwer does NOT... Frankie while being much YOUNGER when he recorded his classics with the Four Seasons it still incredible to see live... While true the original FOUR SEASONs have broken up decades ago..Franki has but together a top notch band and the trip down memory lane is incredible. He lays down hit after hit after hit... Not many singers have the longevity that Mr Valli has. I was at this show in Atlantic City and it was incredible and for the so called doubters and people that know absolutely about music My first concert this Franki and the 4 Seasons was at the Latin Casino in NJ and let me tell you something while he has grown older and cant quite hit those incredible high notes he and his band still ROCK and I challange any on at his age do to what he does in concert....If you are a fan of the Four Seasons and Franki Valli DO NOT MISS this. You should have this in your collection....Let the others take teir Ball and GO HOME!! Franki ROCKS!!!"

"I've always been a 4 Seasons fan. I was disappointed, however, that the original members of the group backing Frankie Valli had moved on. Bob Gaudio I know is a producer, and was behind the scenes on the making of this concert. So I lost a little "something" there. And that youngman at the keyboards (I don't remember his name) seemed just a little out of place. In all, however, this was Frankie Valli's vintage songs and style, and I am happy with the concert on DVD, inspite of the little things I mentioned above. Thank you. Teri"

"We just saw Frankie Valli and the "new" 4 Seasons at Beau Rivage, Biloxi, MS. I don't know what some reviewers expect of a 73 year old performer but we thought the show was very good. We're going to see The Moody Blues in three weeks and guess what.....they're all in their 60's as well! To the nay sayers, get over it...time marches on and you too will get older....if you live long enough! Just look at the "Stones"."
