Movie ReviewsAwesome Offering from Mill Creek Vince Wylde | Lancaster, MA United States | 08/06/2010 (4 out of 5 stars) "Mill Creek, who specialize in Creative Commons licensed material, have really set the bar with this one. This WWII Documentary is well shot, decent quality, and chock full of things I had never known before. The packaging is nice, and it's just a very enjoyable piece of work teaching about the Great War, World War 2. There are some real gems in here as far as footage and audio goes. Rare stuff, never-before-seen stuff, and more. There are interviews with real WWII vets who reminisce about the experience.
My only critique, and it's probably more a matter of personal preference: I would have preferred a slightly more energetic narrator. Considering that, for not being a PBS or History Channel piece, this is one well-assembled Documentary." |
