"Wow!i was really happy after buying this dvd and viewing it as Wishbone ash has always been amongst my favourite bands.Here in this dvd is proof of just how good these guys were in concert back in the seventies and even now.this superb dvd includes rare footage from the original line up in the seventies,right up to the unreleased material the terrific London show in 2003.Most of their classic cuts are featured here including material from Australia,the US and the UK.This is the definitive guide to the excellent phenomenon of Wishbone ash in concert.Highly recommended."
Wishbone Trash or Ash?!?

"I loved Wishbone Ash 25 years ago. Argus was amazing. This DVD could have been so much better. It has vintage Ash mixed with new Ash. Some of the real old stuff is poorly recorded and the sound quality is mediocre. The DVD will go from a new color video with good sound quality, and then go to a 20-30 year old black and white video with poor sound quality.......back and forth. Some color, some black and white....back and forth. I loved the studio albums back then. I would say this DVD is for avid fans who just want to see what they were like then, and who they are now. Only one original member now. I think it would have been better if they would have showed the old stuff together as a group, and the new stuff together as a a group, instead of back and forth. There was no continuity while watching it. Hard to get into it when the faces, sound quality, color, etc kept changing from video to video. Anyway.......I will always love their music and I guess it's cool to see them then and now, but I can't say that I'd recommend this unless you're a big fan."
Real Classic Ash!!!

"Real classic videos from the original line-up of Wishbone Ash (Andy Powel - guitar, vocals, Ted Turner - guitar, vocals, Martin Turner - bass, vocals & Steve Upton - drums). Videos were culled from various concerts like the 1971 BBC performance of Vas Dis, the 1972 ABC performance of Blowin Free and ending with "Where were you tomorrow?" from Don Kirshner's In Concert in 1973.

The DVD is PAL but it doesn't matter if your dvd player is multi system. It's Dolby Digital 5.1 and dts digital surround sound. All the videos are well preserved if not pristine except the Blowin Free video in 1972 at ABC.

If you like Wishbone Ash and classic rock, buy this dvd and you'll not be disappointed. That I can guarantee you.

The concert videos are;

2 songs from BBC in 1971 (Vas Dis and Jailbait)
1 song from ABC in 1972 (Blowin Free)
2 songs from Don Kirshner In-Concert in 1973 (Warrior and Where were you tomorrow?)
3 songs from Bristol in 1989 (Cosmic Jazz, Why Don't We? And Real Guitars Have Wings)
7 songs from London in 2003 (The King Will Come, Phoenix, Living Proof, Wings Of Desire, Ballad of the Beacon, Blowin Free and Bad Weather Blues). The line-up for the London concert are Andy Powel - guitars and vocal, Ben Granfelt - guitars, Bob Skeat - bass and Ray Weston - drums.

Just buy the dvd and you'll be one happy man afterwards!"
