A cute movie from the 1980's

"First of all, I am reviewing only Cloak & Dagger. I have not seen The Wizard, and will probably never watch it. I only bought this for the first movie.
This is a cute little movie. The cast is wonderful, and the story keeps you guessing. I watched this when it first came out, and have owned it on VHS. And at least once a year I find myself dragging it back out to watch again.
I think the only problem is that the children were to young to be playing an RPG. 6-10 is to young to really understand the complexities for the vast majority of a game like Top Secret or Dungeons & Dragons.
But it was a cute movie, with a sympathetic single father, something you normally do not see in a movie. I recommend this to anybody."
Cloak And Dagger-Yes, The Wizard- No

"I saw both these movies when I was a kid, and when I found out that my wife hadn't seen Cloak And Dagger, I went bargain hunting on Amazon. I found this "Double Feature" Cloak and Dagger/Wizard Combo and went for it. Before I did I saw this review about the Wizard being full of "foul language" and sexual innuendo but figured whoever wrote it was crazy! I didn't remember anything weird from when I say it as a kid...
Cloak And Dagger: Great story. I loved it for the nostalgia, and my wife loved it too even though she hadn't seen it as a kid.
The Wizard: I gotta be honest. That "crazy" reviewer was totally right. At one point the little girl almost gets caught by the bounty hunter, but gets out of it by claiming that he sexually assaulted her... It was just weird and a little disturbing. There was a little bit of nostalgia value in seeing the old video games, but it was more than undone by the other stuff. No thanks. Besides, it's pretty much Rainman with kids."
