Solid vampire CGI/special effects and fight and action scores. The beginning of the movie and lauguage/sex discussions took away from what would have been a great movie. A real shame that Anton Yelchin was cut short by the negligence of an automaker.

This is an enjoyable and well made remake. It keeps the basic premise of the original, but adds enough new twists to make the film well worth checking out. Nice to see that Tom Holland (writer/director of the original) got a story by credit (there's a tendency to ignore the people who made these films and just credit those making the remakes). Chris Sarandon (the vampire from the original has a memorable cameo). Fun film.
