Lots of fun! Christi Taylor is such an enthusiastic instructor that the time flies by. This DVD starts with a warm-up and then straight to Phase 1 which is an on the floor dance rountine broken up into differnt segments. Phase 2 is a different routine with the entire aerobic workout last approx 40 minutes. I watched it all the way through the first time and then I attempeted it. It made it much easier to follow..just a warning, you will feel the thigh workout days later.

Once you've seen Christi, there is no other instructor

"This is ANOTHER great Christi workout. It's the latest of hers that I have. I don't know why this has taken so long to be released through amazon when other companies have it already, but nevertheless, this is a terrific dvd. It's fun, motivating, challenging and high high energy. There is floor aerobics for a little over a half hour, and then there is toning. Her cueing is again superb and it's never hard to follow because of this great instruction. The thing I like about this workout and her others, is her teaching style, because what she does is teaches you in layers. She begins with a simple easy step, repeats it for a bit and then adds to it often. Before you know it, you're doing what looked impossible when you first watch it through. Don't fret if you don't get it right away, because at the end is a helpful segment where each move is broken down easily. A must workout dvd. Better than anything else out there."
Can't keep up!

"I bought this without reading any other customer reviews on other sites. There were more negative than positive. I thought it would be fun to try one of Christi's videos. About one quarter of the way through I gave up on the first segment of it. She moved through the steps way too fast and it was very, very dancey, I was very frustrated. I think it would take quite a long time to get this routine down if you make it through the frustrations. I watched the second workout and it looked only slightly easier to follow. The toning looks like it would be easier to follow, I will try that out, but overall I am disappointed in the DVD."
A rush of energetic aerobic steps that are funky.

"As an intermediate exerciser who loves challenging choreographies, this DVD is a true blessing. "Funktional fitness" is not a hip-hop or an urban dance workout, but fitness that strengthens muscles so that you can carry out daily chores with more ease. Such strengthening routine follows after two "funky phases" of dynamic and varied aerobic sequences. The menu and the choice of music are excellent. You can tailor your workouts easily."
