Reviewed on 7/5/2011...
Hatchet II is what is to Hatchet what James Cameron's Aliens is to Alien...kinda. the story takes over right where the first one left off, our heroine (now played by Danielle Harris) survives the massacre and assists in gathering a group of hunters to destroy the "ghost" of Victor Crowley that haunts the swamps. Of course, like Aliens, its no easy task and the body count starts to build.

I didn't quite enjoy this as much as the original flick, but it specializes in delivering plenty of creative kills and gore. Not for the squimish and if you are a fan of the original Hatchet, you owe it to yourself to check this one out.
