I was aware of the premise of this movie before I saw it; "Nazis have been hiding on a secret base on the Moon since the end of WW2, and they launch an invasion on an unsuspecting modern-day Earth." Sounded like check-your-brain-at-the box-office fun. I was expecting a cross between Indiana Jones and Mars Attacks, but it was more of a barbed satire aimed at American politics by a Finnish movie director. According to him, there's little to choose between the Nazis and the US government. Like all Americans, I'm well aware of the shortcomings and inequalities that exist in this country, but frankly, I was not amused. Great special effects, but no better than so-so acting (I've seen better in high school productions) and a dismally unfunny and insulting script add up to an extremely disappointing movie.

Earth is under attack by MOON NAZIS in this wacky sci-fi/action comedy from Finland, and our only hope is the U.S. President (who resembles a certain Mrs. Palin so closely that it's almost scary).

The concept of this movie is a total hoot and the special effects are fantastic but the flick doesn't quite live up to the promise shown in its trailer. It never quite finds the right balance between the butt kickin' Space-Nazi fightin' action and the forced attempts at political satire. It's still a fun flick to watch once, though. I mean c'mon, it's got Moon Nazis, for cryin' out loud. How cool is that?
