A Total Waste of Time and Money
Linda M. Galasso | Seattle, WA | 11/20/2009
(1 out of 5 stars)

"Had I known that this was just repackaged dribble, which I had previously viewed, I never would have purchased it again. It was extremely disappointing the first see it again was an insult to my intelligence.

This is a 2 disc review of "Queen" by a few critics/commentaries. There is very little Queen, to see or hear. The most painful thing to me about this program is the way they filmed a guitarist displaying his know-how of Brian May's guitar licks. He just goes on and on attempting to sound like Brian and show his viewers "how-to" play like one of the best musicians in history. I don't want to see someone trying to emulate Brian. I want to see and hear Brian. I also didn't like their so-called opinions of the content of Queen's albums.....I didn't agree with them at all.

When they interpret the lyrics to "Bohemian Rhapsody".....that was more than I could stand. Only Freddie knew what was in his heart and mind when he penned this awesome song. They also filmed this chubby guy riding around on a motorcycle, again telling his story of "Queen". TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT. You can rent this program from Netflix, if you disagree with me, then make the purchase, but if you feel the way I do, spend your $25.00 on something actually published by Queen themselves. There is another DVD here on Amazon...if you want to read the customer reviews, go to "Queen Under Review". You'll get the message!"
