Movie Reviews

Original, Refreshing . . . and Campy
R. Christenson | Pine, CO USA | 05/07/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"If you (or your kids) liked Playing Dangerous, 3 Ninjas, Catch That Kid, Agent Cndy Banks (this film originated the idea), you'll probably find this almost as good, with a touch of Thunderbirds Are Go. Some of the acting is campy, but much is competent. Some of the effects are phony in an almost intentional or nostalgic way - and some quite good for a low budget. Some of the comedy childish, but much is witty ("If your boy survives, he'll be the greatest hero since Ollie North!"). The Dr. Strangelove-like villain wears a Hitler puppet, until he's blown up and only his brain survives and communicates with a TV. For the most part suitable for children, moderately fun for adults. I gave it 5 stars because the target audience will love this."
Ummm...yeah

"This movie didn't really make sense to me because it jumped around a lot. They didn't really explain a lot to the movie watcher as the movie progressed. But this movie will most likely keep children intrested ao i'd recommend it to anyone with children."
