"This independent promotion and Christian ministry of Vince Russo's lasted two shows before shutting down, which is not uncommon in the pro wrestling industry; it has become nearly impossible for the indies to survive for any length of time.

The six-match card was old-school, with the telling of a story within the squared-circle a major premium between the heel and baby-face; there is not a rush to deliver the high spots. There are many familiar names - D-Lo Brown, Disco Inferno, Erik Watts, Sean Waltman, Jazz Rain - and special appearances by Ron Simmons and Percy Pringle.

It was a special event and though the promotion failed to last, it does not take away from the work by the wrestlers...and the message of hope that they delivered in victory or defeat."

"I just got my DVD of the Ring Of Glory's Great Commission event and I absolutely loved it! It was straight-up wrestling. No silly specialty matches, except the main event. No frills. No soap operas. Just pure wrestling, not "sports entertainment". It was a breath of fresh air from what I'm used to.

This storyline was simple, it was all Biblically-related. The example was obvious and the message was clear. It was all for God's glory and his Son Jesus Christ. I highly recommend this DVD to anyone who is tired of watching the same old wrestling on TV week after week after week. Ring Of Glory is a great promotion and I think fans should support it in any way possible. Pray that it continues to succeed."
