Movie Reviews

Megan Follows shines as Rosie
Shelagh Grove | 07/28/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"All too often Canadian movies get left in the dust. They are usually hard to get and don't usually receive the credit they so deserve. This movie, UNDER THE PIANO, featured Megan Follows (an actor who has turned out brilliant performances since she was a child) and Amanda Plumber (yes Christopher's daughter) who is equally as wonderful. This was a thought provoking and often-times difficult to watch movie and a movie that dealt with the human condition. Movies like this tend to get looked over for the Hollywood movies but do deserve our attention.
There is so much talent in Canada and Amazon has the means to promote it.

"At times a heart renching story but with a message of survival.

Really worth a look."
