Love this!

"This a great compilation of workouts! I don't recommend this if you have knee problems - each workout is a bit tough on the knees.

There are three workouts, each 20 minutes, plus 5 bonus workouts.

Ultimate Fat Burn - Trainer Cindy Whitmarsh: Full body resistance routine that works upper, lower body & core. You'll need weights & a mat. This workout has similar exercises from Cindy's Results Fitness - 10 Days to a Better Body. It's an excellent workout.

Metabolism Boost - Trainer Jessica Smith: Ten full body strength moves with alternating cardio bursts. I love this one, she has a great push up move in this...intense =) This is the first workout I've done with Jessica as a trainer - she does an excellent job. This will get your heart rate up!

Fat Burning Cardio - Trainer Michael Carson: High energy routine! Get ready to sweat. This is a full body workout, the moves focus a good bit on the waist and buns. I was impressed with this one. Michael uses a light ball, however, you can use a weight 2 lbs. or less, or no weight at all - just interlace your fingers.

The Bonus workouts:
Firm Lower Body - Cindy W. 2:00 min
Arm Toner - Jessica S. 2:00 min.
Fast Fat Burn - Jessica S. 2:41 min.
Fat Burning - Michael C. 1:07 min.
Trimmer Core - Michael C. 1:38 min.

Great Pick me ups or to do in addition to a twenty minute workout! Definately a keeper..Highly recommend to intermediate and up."
I like (most of) this series!

"I ordered a six-pack series of the Exercise Tv Presents Ulitimate Body.
This particular DVD, Slim Down Fast, was one of my two favorites.
Slim Down Fast is a compilation of 3- 20 minute programs offered on Exercise TV, put together for you. There is also a 10 minute bonus workout.
The first program "Ultimate Fat Burn" is instructed by Cindy Whitmarsh. I have a few of her other DVD's and she's always a precise, inspiring instructor. This is a full body workout using dumbells and a mat. If you have knee issues...be careful..lots of lunges and squats.
The second program is Metabolism Boost. Jessica Smith is the instructor and she also uses dumbells and mat for a full-body workout combining strenth and cardio like the program mentioned above. I found this workout to be less intense than Cindy's.
The last program instructed by Michael Carson really got my heart rate up! He uses a small ball (weighing less that 3 pounds) to add resistance to lot of plyo-jumps, sports drills, lunges, ab work, etc...
The bonus workouts are 5 (2) minute exercises focusing on the lower body, arms, glutes, abs, and all over burn.
I had originally rated this 4 1/2 starts, but am bumping it up to 5. The warm-ups of the segments that follow are easy enough to intensify, so that I was able to keep my heartrate up in between segments, which was my gripe. (I think I mixed this up with the "Star Cardio" DVD that Exercise TV puts out. This is one of my favorite intense cardio DVDs. I give this DVD 5 stars for the content, adjustable time for workouts, instuction, and intensity.

Great workouts!

"I bought this item based on a Cindy Whitmarsh DVD I have and liked a lot. However, I really didn't know what to expect since there are also two other instructors on this DVD, Jessica Smith and Michael Carson. Surprisingly, all three instructors provide excellent workouts, about 20 minutes in length, with a count-down clock to let you know how much time has elapsed, and thus, how much time is left (a great motivator!). There are also 5 bonus workouts at 2 minutes each, for a total of 10 additional minutes. I generally prefer to do at least two workouts and then add the bonus workouts, but you can do one, two, or three of the workouts on any given day and then either add or don't add the bonus workouts. All the workouts are fun and do-able, and you can see results!"
Didn't expect this to be excellent!

"Wow - this is great! I didn't think I would like it and all of it this much. All three 20 minute workouts are really good. Advanced, challenging and varied. Despite the sweat this was so much fun. Also, the encouragement from the instructors is not just the ususal blabla, it's really helpful with information and sense. The emphasis on all of the workouts is to circuit train cardio & weights. I use this mostly for the cardio benefit, but I'm a weights junkie, so I love alternating the weights to keep it challenging. The third section is targeting the core with a mostly standing superfun routine that uses a weighted ball. He recommends 2 lbs or less, but I used 4 lbs and it was perfect. LOVE IT!!"
